Dear Friends,
PAVILLON IS OPEN! I hadn’t realized the joy and relief that could come with those three words, until I was not able to say them. Hurricane Helene hit our area with a vengeance, creating disruptions across all areas of life.
We have been on a journey as an organization; and it is one that we hope not to repeat. Evacuating patients during their treatment stay, and taking a pause on admissions, however, brings enlightening realizations. Overcoming the challenges of temporary closure is not only possible, but becomes an opportunity in building strength, community, and confidence. We have seized this opportunity to be better.
Our campus is open and we are fully staffed. The Primary Residential Program and Extended Care Programs are fully operational, with the addition of a NEW therapy for our Extended Care Patients – Equine Assisted Learning (EAL). We haven’t missed a beat! Our virtual Outpatient Services Programs remained operational with only a few days’ pause. ALL inquiries are welcomed. The Pavillon staff are here and ready to bring hope, healing and lasting recovery to those in need.
In closing, the support from our alumni, friends, colleagues, and Board members has been incredible! The encouraging words and generous donations are what has helped to sustain us through the past 3 weeks.
Words of gratitude are inadequate, but are heartfelt. From ALL OF US AT PAVILLON, THANK YOU.
In gratitude and hope,
Barbara Bennett, CEO
