To make your arrival at Pavillon as smooth and stress-free as possible, please use these important tips to help you
prepare.

  • Limit bags to: ONLY one suitcase and one small, carry-on-size bag. (Please do not overpack! Additional bags,
    purses, knapsacks, backpacks and/or suitcases will not be included (returned home) in the admission process.)
  • Insurance Card, Picture ID, and $600 for a spending account (Preferably a check but can be credit card.)

What should you pack?
Footwear: Tennis shoes, hiking boots, flip flops or slides

*Clothing: Comfortable, wash and wear clothing (Laundry facilities, including supplies, are available for patient use. Iron
and ironing boards are also available.)

**Appropriate attire includes jeans, casual slacks, sport shirts, jogging suits/joggers, shorts, t-shirts, and hoodies.

***Inappropriate attire and therefore not allowed: open shirts, tight clothing, short shorts, cut off shirts, tops with spaghetti straps, low necklines, midriff/tight/overly revealing tops or bottoms, clothing that depicts alcohol, drugs, sex, and/or violence.

This list is not all inclusive and Pavillon reserves the right to deem clothing as inappropriate at any time by clinical staff. Inappropriate clothing will be kept secure until a patient’s departure.

  • Controlled medications
  • Backpacks
  • Food and/or beverages
  • Over-the-counter medications
  • All dietary supplements, salves, creams and ointments
  • CBD oil or products
  • Drug paraphernalia
  • Vehicle keys (if you drive yourself, these will be secured upon admission)
  • Recreational reading materials (magazines, books, novels, game books, etc.)
  • Journals with writing in them (blank ones are fine)
  • Laundry detergent, fabric softener or bleach
  • Pillows and blankets
  • Space Heaters
  • Vaping supplies, matches, lighters
  • Nicotine in any form
  • Nail polish and remover
  • Any product that has alcohol as
    the first or second ingredient (if
    the first ingredient is water, then
    alcohol cannot be one of the first
    three ingredients)
  • Aerosol products
  • Fragrances (perfume, body spray, aftershave, room spray,
    etc.)
  • Self-tanning lotion or spray
  • Flushable wipes
  • Hair dye
  • Travel size toiletries
  • Straight razors or double-sided razor blades
  • Sexual devices, including condoms
  • Weapons, guns, knives, mace or pepper spray
  • Smart watches
  • Cameras/recording devices
  • Musical Instruments
  • Essential oils
  • A Device that may be needed for two factor authentications (banking, etc.)
  • Watch (digital or analog)
  • Sunscreen (no aerosol)

What to expect during the Intake Process:

  • Your belongings will be thoroughly searched. Any articles deemed inappropriate by staff will be kept secure until your departure or disposed of if items are illegal or not allowed.
  • All electrical items, (hair dryers and curling irons) will be checked for safety before you may access them.

Following the Intake Process: You will be examined by our nursing and medical staff.
