Question: What makes Pavillon’s care different?
Answer: Our approach during treatment, and our alumni services after treatment. How so? I’m glad you asked.
The bio-psycho-social-spiritual model means we treat the person as a whole person. And our clinical team is specifically designed to match that very model. So, for example, we have:
- A full-time physician who serves as our medical director, 24-hour RNs on duty, and both primary care and psychiatric PA’s (bio)
- Two full-time PhD clinical psychologists (psych)
- A residential setting and service, with gender specific programming, attendance at in-house and out of house meetings, and alumni services staff (social)
- Full-time spiritual care and wellness staff (spiritual)
And to support the way we plan and provide care, we use an interdisciplinary team process. That consists of a daily morning staffing where every patient is reviewed every day. Plus, each patient is reviewed each week in a full case conference. Our entire clinical team attends all of these meetings, and the mixture of disciplines present in the meetings is very helpful.
Another thing that makes us different is the way our Alumni Services department functions. Once someone has completed their stay, 90 days later or more they can book a return to our Alumni House and stay on campus at no charge.
- This opportunity remains open for the rest of their life.
- Sometimes people stay a few nights, and other times people just stay for one night.
It’s an opportunity to refresh, reset, reconnect, and have personal quality time while immersed in a supportive community. The stay includes housing and meals. Alumni can attend meetings, do some service work, be an encouragement to others, tell their story, and get an uplift just by being here.
Our model and method make us different.
